Paladin Realty Income Properties, Inc. (“Paladin REIT”) entered into a joint venture with an experienced real estate owner and operator based in the northeast to acquire Beechwood Gardens. Paladin REIT’s investment amounts to 82% of the total equity; however the investment is structured as “preferred equity” which will receive a preferred return of 10.0% annually from available cash flow. In exchange, our joint venture partner may earn incentive compensation should future sale proceeds exceed a certain threshold level. |
